9/22/2023 0 Comments Farming simulator 16 selling straw![]() If you DO want to raise pigs (it's ok, they're fun to raise!) and you're on Easy economy, you're better off just buying pig feed from the store. No matter how I run the math I cannot get that to work out as a net positive. On normal a fully grown pig will eat about $64/month in feed which means your newly born pig worth about $100 at full health cost you $256 to produce. Newly born pigs don't eat a lot but remember you have to feed the sows while they're gestating. The issue is food costs: even using the base price (meaning you're not selling your crops at an above average price) the numbers really aren't in your favor even on Hard economy. assuming you're not counting infrastructure costs and not marketing your crops well. Definitely not on Easy, Normal gets close, and Hard you'll likely break even. ![]()
